Copyrite Team raises over £1300 at the New Forest Show
Copyrite of Wimborne, Dorset would like to thank the many people who attended the wettest New Forest
Show in years for helping them raise over £1300 for Wessex Heartbeat, the major regional charity which
supports the work of the Wessex Cardiac Centre in Southampton General.
Copyrite, a Wessex based company who specialises in business equipment and software, has worked with
Heartbeat over the last three years and has raised over £17,000 from its company wide efforts in the last two
Heartbeat Cycle Challenges across France as well as supporting Golf Tournaments in the South. Working in
conjunction with one of Copyrite's main suppliers Nashuatec, the team headed by Phil Ford printed personalised
photo t-shirts for the nominal cost of £5.00. All proceeds have gone to the charity.
Commenting on the fundraising efforts, Phil Ford Director of Copyrite said, "We can't deny it's been a quagmire
but we managed to grab most of the people trudging past our stand. By the end of day two we had hit the
£1000 mark and still had a day to go. The atmosphere has been amazing and we've had a great time - it will just
take us a few days to dry out!! We'd also like to thank Nashuatec for supporting us with their innovative
mobile technology".
Wessex Heartbeat relies heavily on the support of local businesses and Suzie Pearce Head of Fundraising and
Communications at the Charity endorses this, "This sort of initiative from Copyrite is so important to our
fundraising efforts. Phil and the team have literally grabbed people wadding through the mud and have given
us a fantastic cheque. Our thanks also got to all those people who purchased the t-shirts."
